Support Services Manager (Restricted to Health NZ Applicants)

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Group Director Operations (GDO) – South Canterbury, the Support Services Manager is a key member of the District Leadership Team (DLT), providing strategic and operational support to the GDO and fellow DLT members.
As part of the district leadership team the role contributes to the delivery and achievement of Health New Zealand’s strategic goals and objectives, including the effective management of health resources and the Support Services workforce.
About you
This senior role requires significant business experience and someone who has managed complex operational services preferably with proven skills in contract management, business case development and project management. Health experience will be advantageous.
Leadership skills, including
highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution
and negotiation are required along with proven financial management skills,
with demonstrable track record of managing budgets effectively.
