About the Role
Right now, we’re looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Quality & Risk team and facilitate organisational quality systems and support staff in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of service improvement initiatives.
The person in the role is responsible for contemporary quality and risk management knowledge and practices to ensure managers and staff have tools and techniques to enable decision making and integration of quality improvement and risk management into service delivery.
About you
This role is suited to an experienced Registered Nurse who will support
the organisation to uphold Ngā paerewa Health and Disability
Sector Standards and can demonstrate leading quality and service improvement
and able to coordinate complaints and serious adverse events and
investigation. Other experience needed
includes:
- Current NZ APC
- Working knowledge of the New Zealand Health sector and health equity
- Knowledge and experience with a wide variety of health and safety standards (as outlined in the position description)
- Can work with a range of stakeholders, patients and their families/whānau

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant Nursing Collective and the Pay Scale, determined on relevant experience.
