About the Role
The role provides administration support and support to clinical staff as required. Majority of tasks are data entry, auditing patient files and discharge paperwork.
About You
We’re looking for a Health Care Assistant with an interest in administration associated with mental health services
Ideally you will have directly relevant work experience or have worked for a recognised healthcare provider and therefore you are able to bring this experience to the role. Other success factors for this role includes;Strong administration skills, attention to detail and data integrity
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
- Accurate data entry
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a patient management system such as Health Connect South (HCS) and SiPICS highly regarde
- Display genuine sensitivity (and culturally empathy) toward others
- Maintaining unfailing confidentiality in all respects
- Able to assist people with mental health care needs and deliver safe quality care and client centred services
- Present a friendly positive approach to colleagues, patients & visitors alike
- Utilise well developed communication skills to enhance patient experiences
- Takes the initiative, (i.e. sees something requiring attention and simply does it)

Salary
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Nursing Collective, and the Pay Scale, determined on relevant experience.
