About the Role
As our Front of Hospital team provide a 24-hour / seven day a week service, there is a requirement to work a variety of rostered shifts. Ideally, you will rise up to the challenge of having to work differing hours each week and have the ability on occasion to swap shifts. Each shift type has its own demands and also rewards.
Across different rostered shifts, you will be one of our telephonists. Where one day could see you answering incoming calls and dealing with queries, the next you could be coordinating emergency response teams.
About You
We are looking for an empathetic self-starter with a high degree of organisational skills, exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment. This includes coordinating emergency and alarm procedures throughout the hospital alongside daily administration and computer related duties.
You would be working within a team that contributes in some way toward helping those in the community who require medical assistance. You will need to be able to deal with an incredibly diverse range of people, staff, patients and their families - all of them needing your assistance. The success factors for the role include:

Salary
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA Collective, and the Pay Scale, Telephonist Role Band 2 and Emergency Reception Band 3
