Right now, we are seeking an enthusiastic Staff Audiologist to join our friendly team at Timaru Hospital.  This role sits within SCDHB Allied Health Services and contributes to all- age diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology Services.

This position would suit a new graduate or experienced practitioner.

The successful appointee would be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the provision of a comprehensive Paediatric audiological assessment and rehabilitation service.
  • Performing adult diagnostic assessment.
  • Providing adult aural rehabilitation.

Role Requirements include:

  • Already, or actively working towards NZ Audiological Society (NZAS) membership. (Supervision will be provided if required).
  • Annual Practising Certificate, once MNZAS achieved, with a view to achieving NZAS Paediatric sub-specialty certification
  • Up to date knowledge of developments within the field of Audiology
  • Competent in all areas of Audiology Science
