We are seeking expressions of interest from Registered Nurses interested in a becoming a Trainee RN Anaesthetic Assistant in our Operating Theatre. You will be trained in many aspects of the anaesthetic tech role. This is a significant upskilling as you will be essentially be dual-skilled in both being a theatre nurse and an anaesthetic assistant.
As part of our Operating Theatre service you will be working with a supportive and friendly team. You will be assisting in multiple peri-operative scenarios, maintaining and practicing the highest level of patient care.
In addition to the experience you bring to us, your enthusiasm to further develop your skills and expertise will make a strong contribution to our focus on patient centered care because every moment matters.
- Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing certificate
- Have a minimum of one to two years of relevant and recent critical care experience
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation and standards which govern health care practice in New Zealand
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
