How about joining the South Canterbury District Health Board District Nursing service? 

We need an experienced Registered Nurse to join District Nursing Service in South Canterbury. You can’t get any more front line than caring for people in their own home environment where the clinical care that you provide as a health professional is going to make a real difference to an individual’s health status.

The role involves working a minimum of 24 hours per week rostering shifts including weekends, evenings and on-call. Opportunity to work additional shifts to meet service needs covering peer leave.

District Nurses work closely with visiting Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care Nurses and Primary Care providers within the area and forms an integral part of the South Canterbury DHB District Nursing team as a whole.  Support will be provided to maintain professional competencies in accordance with Nursing Council requirements.

A current Practicing Certificate and full driver’s license are essential.
