Recovery PACU Nurse, and Operating Theatre RN
- Based at Timaru Hospital
- Permanent 1.0 FTE 80 hours per fortnight, weekdays, rostered shifts

About the Role
Right now, we’re looking for a Recovery Registered Nurse and or experienced Theatre Registered Nurse with a broad range of experience behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role where you can challenge and grow your clinical assessment skills.
Recovery and Theatre is a dynamic high acuity environment best suited to a Registered Nurse with exemplary critical thinking skills and a desire to expand their knowledge.
As part of our Operating Theatre service, you will be working with a supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
About you
Ideally you will have experience in a Perioperative/Surgical setting and Theatre and have clinical and technical expertise specific to Recovery and Theatre. You will demonstrate effective planning and prioritisation skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be comfortable working under pressure.
- A current New Zealand Practicing Certificate
- Hold a valid ACLS Level 6 certificate or be prepared to achieve this
- Eligible to work in New Zealand to start asap

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Nursing Collective and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, and dependent on relevant experience.
