About the Role

Right now, we're looking for a Theatre Co-ordinator with lots of experience behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru. You will be supporting and overseeing a team committed to providing excellent peri-operative care. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role where there is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!

You will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the Operating Theatres and Recovery Suite.  This will include maintaining the Theatre roster, managing resources, actively overseeing clinical practice, and ensuring multi-disciplinary team involvement in the peri-operative environment.

About you

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a team coordinating role or hold strong aspirations toward taking on a leadership role. We are looking for someone who has what it takes to effectively lead a team; including the ability to problem-solve, demonstrate sound professional judgement with excellent communication and rapport-building skills.  A post Graduate qualification or willingness to work towards this will be an advantage. Peri operative experience is essential for this role.

Salary Range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant Collective, and the Pay Scale, determined on relevant experience.
