Permanent, Full time, 80 Hours per fortnight, Weekday Office Hours
Life is a collection of small moments: meaningful
moments, challenging moments, moments to remember. At Te Whatu Ora South
Canterbury, we want to support our people to enjoy more of the moments that
matter. Are you ready to join us?
Right now, we're looking for a Theatre Co-ordinator
with lots of experience behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru.
You will be supporting and overseeing a team committed to providing excellent
peri-operative care. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role where
there is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!
You will be responsible for the day-to-day
co-ordination of the Operating Theatres, Recovery & Endoscopy suites. This
will include maintaining the Theatre roster, managing resources, actively
overseeing clinical practice, and ensuring multi-disciplinary team involvement
in the peri-operative environment.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a team
coordinating role, or hold strong aspirations toward taking on a leadership
role. We are looking for someone who has what it takes to effectively lead a
team; including the ability to problem-solve, demonstrate sound professional
judgement with excellent communication and rapport-building skills. A post Graduate qualification or willingness
to work towards this will be an advantage. Peri operative experience is essential for this role.
This is an opportunity for your next career move in a
supportive learning culture
