Every moment matters is not only our vision, it is our commitment to enhance the health and independence of the people of South Canterbury. We do things differently at the SCDHB, we believe extraordinary leadership can emerge from anywhere in our workforce, and the best ideas tend to come from staff closest to our patients and our patients themselves.
You can make a difference here at the South Canterbury DHB. We have a positive learning team environment where initiative is rewarded with active support allowing for high standards of service delivery. You will have time to invest in your clients and team and enjoy an established structure which contributes to achieving the best outcomes.

The role works with inpatient clients identified with moderate to severe psychiatric disorders who are in the acute stage and who need a period of close observation &/or intensive intervention where this is unable to be safely provided in the community.
