Consider joining our Quality Team to undertake this Part Time position (20 hours per week) and put your skills to good use. This is a fixed term position with the possibility of extension.
As the MQSP Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Supporting and promoting quality improvement and safety in Maternity Services
- Facilitating and developing guidelines and policies that support clinical practice in Maternity Services for South Canterbury
- Tracking, analysing and reporting on Maternity clinical data in a timely fashion
- Reporting to the ministry on Maternity clinical data
We are looking for someone with has excellent communication, presentation and time management skills. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to exercise sound judgement along with first-rate data analysis and report writing skills.
You do not have to be a midwife to be considered for the role. This role is open to healthcare practitioners with experience in healthcare quality and non-healthcare applicants. While an understanding of health care is desirable, non-healthcare applicants with a strong background in quality may see this as an ideal entry role into our sector.
