About the Role
Right now, we are looking for a dietitian with enthusiasm and self-motivation to become part of the team here in Timaru. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role where there is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!
About you
In this role, you will be working predominantly at the hospital and outpatient clinics and provide effective, evidence based best practice dietetic services for clients and their families. The service includes Timaru Hospital, Community and the Psychiatric Service.
Successful candidates will;
- Be a NZ registered Dietitian ideally with at least one year’s hospital-based experience
- Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate with Endorsement on Scope of Practice: Dietitian Prescriber
- Have a current Driver’s NZ Drivers License
- Vave excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Be able to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant PSA Allied Health and Scientific and Technical Collective, and the Pay Scale, determined on relevant experience.
