Clinical Director - General Medical and AT&R

• Fixed Term for 3 years (Rotational Vacancy)
• Part-Time 24 hours per fortnight (0.3 FTE)

About the Role

The role is responsible for providing professional oversight and day‑to‑day clinical leadership of all Senior Medical Officers within the General Medical team and Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation services. It ensures that professional development and clinical standards are maintained, that planned clinical service activity and volumes are delivered, and that quality improvement initiatives are consistently upheld.

The person in the role will work closely with the Chief Medical Officers, General Director of Operations and other senior leaders on matters pertaining to clinical operation of the specialty teams &/or services, taking an active involvement in the staffing of teams and the management of clinical risk. 

About you

The person will bring General Medicine experience plus NZ Vocational Registration and will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership and work both collaboratively and collegially.
