Every moment matters is not only our vision, it is our commitment to enhance the health and independence of the people of South Canterbury. We do things differently at the SCDHB, we believe extraordinary leadership can emerge from anywhere in our workforce, and the best ideas tend to come from staff closest to our patients and our patients themselves.

Therefore a critical eye for detail, an inquiring mind able to accurately interpret clinical notes and align those successfully with the most appropriate coding options, precise and timely data inputting skills, plus extensive reporting and analysis abilities are all seen as being essential requirements for success in this position.

If you are passionate about clinical coding, strive for excellence in what you do, with a resilient, intelligent mind and a compassionate heart, then you won’t do better than joining us at South Canterbury DHB and proudly place yourself amongst some great clinical coders in New Zealand .
