About the Role
The Jean Todd Maternity Service provides primary and secondary care to women in South Canterbury with approximately 600 births ranging from normal and low-risk to complex and high needs.
Right now, we’re looking for a Clinical Coach-Maternity to work as a practical clinical educator and leader/change agent in the ongoing pursuit of clinical excellence and improved health outcomes. This position works collaboratively with colleagues, new graduates, other health staff and reports to the Midwife Manager.
About you
We are seeking applications from New Zealand Registered Midwifes with a current APC and recent clinical leadership experience.

- Understanding of tikanga Māori and commitment to te tiriti o waitangi.
- Knowledge and compliance with legislative and best practice requirements
- Responsible for promoting a learning environment
- Working towards or has completed the Quality Leadership Programme
