Casual Orderly

We are
looking for a self-motivated person to join our Orderlies team who has the
drive to take on full responsibility for our laundry service. You will need to
be able to prioritise the day to day tasks required to ensure an efficient
laundry service is provided to our hospital.
The
successful applicant for this role will be a true independent worker, they must
be able to work unsupervised and be confident in their ability to make
decisions and solve problems quickly and effectively in a demanding changing
environment.
Success factors include;
- High degree of fitness to cope with the physical demands of lifting linen, unloading and restocking trollies, delivering and collecting fully loaded trollies to and from the hospital wards
- A good degree of computer literacy to be able to place linen orders including email communication with wards and laundry provider
- Excellent customer service skills with the proven ability to build successful and effective relationships with all ward staff and laundry provider staff
- A good verbal communicator
- Driver’s license and previous experience in a similar role
- Ability
to work across the rostered shifts
