Right now, we have two vacancies available for proactive driven administrators seeking a role that provides office support to enhance productivity and effectiveness of the District Leadership Team.  These roles will work in collaboration, as required, with all clinical, non-clinical and service areas.

These roles are instrumental in supporting Te Whatu Ora - South Canterbury to become an effective customer driven, safety conscious, professional and performance-oriented organisation supporting the needs of the local community.

This role requires an experienced administrator who is highly competent and professional, with an ability to handle a fast-pace multi-tasking environment where you will provide administrative support from high-level executive, secretariat and project support services is needed. These roles also provide efficient single point of entry reception services to support staff across the district,

Ideally, you will be someone who can demonstrate the following skill/experience:

  • Proven experience as an administrator in a complex organisation
  • Technology proficient with Intermediate Microsoft software application knowledge and computer skills
  • Prior secreterial experience or minute taking experience
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and time management skills
  • A high degree of initiative with excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and independent work approach
  • The ability to connect and collaborate at all levels including internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
  • Ability to think independently and work autonomously
  • Excellent Customer Service Drive and patient focus understanding
